By now you are probably aware of the recent recalls of certain toys made in Chinese factories due to safety concerns about lead paint. All of us at Mary Meyer share consumers’ concerns about this situation and about toy safety in general. We take toy safety very seriously!

Today the third generation of the Meyer family makes toys that incorporate the quality and safety we require for our own children -all 17 of them! That’s why all our toys meet or exceed every US toy safety requirement. Every product is held to the strict quality standards of the United States and the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

As a small company, we have the ability to closely monitor all of our products and the factories in which they are made. Our Vice President of Production is actually in China and has a long standing relationship with the factories where our toys are made.
