To our retailers and end user customers, please read this important message regarding the recent Oball rattle recall.
Dear Mary Meyer Retail Customer:
As you know, until January 2017, Mary Meyer distributed Oballs, manufactured by Kids II, Inc. Kids II has been trusted for generations for the quality of its infant products. We are writing you because Kids II has determined that corrective action is necessary for a limited number of Oball Rattle products sold after January 1, 2016.
Kids II, Inc., in cooperation with the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission, is voluntarily recalling Oball Rattles #81031 sold to consumers after January 1, 2016, which were supplied to Kids II, Inc. by Topco Marketing Limited. The affected Oball Rattles have three clear plastic disc shaped bead chambers, two have multicolored beads and one has all orange beads. Please see the photograph below:
The recalled #81031 Oball Rattles have a date code starting with the letter “T”. These date codes are T3065, T0486, T1456, T2316 and T2856. The date code can be found on a small triangle on the inside of the affected products.
The Oball Rattles passed all the required quality and safety testing. Kids II has received no reports of any injuries regarding the product. Kids II has received some reports of small parts releasing from the rattles. Small parts could create a choking hazard to children under three years of age.
The Solution: (For consumers)
If you purchased an Oball Rattle identified above, please take the Oball Rattle away from small children and contact Kids II toll free at 1-877-243-7314 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. ET Monday through Friday to determine if your product is affected and to return the affected product to receive a full refund. You can also contact Kids II online at www.kidsii.com and click “Recalls”. If you purchased the product as a gift, please contact the recipient of the gift and ask him or her to contact Kids II for information regarding the recall.

Contact Mary Meyer Customer Service (800) 451-4387 to arrange for a return of any affected product. You will receive a full refund as a credit on your account or you may request a check.
