Clearly, we as a society are on an unsustainable path of harvesting, producing, consuming, and discarding. It’s a one-way path that always ends at the landfill. There is an effort underway to connect the two ends of this path, creating a circle that replenishes, not diminishes our resources. Mary Meyer is helping to make this connection an everyday occurrence. You recycle your plastic bottles, we make a toy from them. And, if after a long and useful life, you wish to recycle your toy, it can be recycled… mail it back to us and we’ll see to it that your toy is reborn as another useful product.  Recycling materials is a big part of future of manufacturing.  With every step we take, Mary Meyer is helping to make recycling programs profitable and desirable.  We don’t claim to be all Green, but we are trying to be greener than we ever have been.  It’s important to us.

Our Fuzz That Wuzz recycled toys are made from recycled plastic bottles. Not just fabrics, but stuffing too. Now, Fuzz That Wuzz 2.0 – softer and fuzzier toys are making their mark by leaving no trace…  made from recycled plastic.

The power of poop is evident on the farms and on the electric grid in Vermont.  Our state pioneered the bottle deposit, and is yet again in the environmental forefront with green electricity.  Mary Meyer gets 100 percent of our electricity from cow manure turned into electricity… or as we like to say, we get our power from pump #2.
